High-end residential consulting

Advice for luxury home remodeling.

Thousand Consulting Group is a consulting practice for people commissioning a fine residence or a serious remodel. The role is an independent view of feasibility, budget, design and build coordination, contractor selection, and how time, cost, and quality stay in one conversation.

Four adults review drawings and material samples at a walnut island in a home that is still being remodeled.

Mission

A clear view before the house is committed.

The mission is to help the person paying for the work see what a luxury remodel or a new high-end residence is asking of them, and to keep the designer, the architect, and the builder working from the same decisions.

Scope and fees are agreed for each residence.

Coordination

The details, and the decisions around them.

High-end residential work is often decided in the joinery, the selections, and the meetings between them. Consulting here is that oversight for the owner. It does not replace the maker or the designer.
